Dr Chan holds a PhD in medical decision analysis. Currently an assistant director at the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Dr Chan is also an honorary fellow of the College of Science, Health & Engineering, La Trobe University, where he taught from 2010 to 2013. He strongly advocates the applications of Bayesian techniques and structural equation models in biomedical research, and has published over 120 papers in peer-reviewed journals to date.

Dr Wong Siong Sung is Consultant Cardiologist at National University Heart Centre Singapore. He is subspecialized in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular MRI. He is one of the pioneers in the establishment of the quantification of myocardial blood flow and coronary flow reserve using SPECT imaging technique in Singapore. This technique is to be of great importance to patient’s management and carries a significant prognostic value. Dr Wong did his advanced fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology at Royal Brompton Hospital and Harefield Hospital, London, United Kingdom and University College Hospital, London, UK. His advanced fellowship training in Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular MRI took place at Royal Brompton Hospital, London, United Kingdom. He has interpreted numerous number of cases in the field of Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular MRI. He always has great interest to integrate multi-modality imaging to provide better care to the patients.

Samer Ellahham has served as Chief Quality Officer for SKMC since 2009. In his role, Dr. Ellahham has led the development of a quality and safety program that has been highly successful and visible and has been recognized internationally by a number of awards. As Chief Quality Officer and Global Leader, Dr. Ellahham has a focus on ensuring that that implementation of this best practices leads to breakthrough improvements in clinical quality and patient safety. Dr. Ellahham is the recipient of the Quality Leadership Award from the Global Awards for excellence in Quality and Leadership and the Business Leadership Excellence Award from the World Leadership Congress. He was nominated in 2015 for SafeCare magazine Person of the Year. He did his fellowship in Cardiology at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in USA. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Ellahham worked in Washington DC in several clinical and leadership positions before moving to UAE in 1988. He led the First AHA GWTG Heart Failure Initiative outside US and was the recipient of the AHA GWTG Award in Wash. DC. His clinical passion and expertise is in the field of heart failure management. He demonstrated great skill and experience in the management of patients with heart failure and led a multi-disciplinary team in the care and delivery of advanced therapies to these patients. He has unique abilities to partner and engage local and regional referring providers. He is able to work in a highly matrixed environment, possess strong leadership and organizational skills and have experience to working effectively in a large health system.

Dr. Agha is working in the field of pediatric cardiology since 1990. Her field of interest within the pediatric cardiology is interventional catheterization, echocardiography and postoperative cardiac intensive care. She is currently the director of pediatric postoperative cardiac ICU, CUSPH. She is a course director of many pediatric echocardiography hands-on courses and teacher of pediatric cardiology E-Learning course. She has published 40 papers in reputed journals and she has supervised more than 50 research thesis.

Dr. Silvana Molossi joined the Faculty at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital as an Associate Professor, Section of Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Silvana Molossi has been working for the past six years in screening young athletes for conditions known to be high risk for sudden cardiac death (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, in particular). Dr. Silvana Molossi is the Vice President of Science and Research for the Championship Hearts Foundation, Austin, Texas. Her work includes the recent development of a state registry in which important demographic, ethnic, electrocardiographic and limited echocardiographic data are being collected and will be followed longitudinally in this population of young athletes. She is also a member of the Sports and Exercise Cardiology Council and Section, American College of Cardiology.
